Unfortunaltely there is no answer concerning my question. Therefore I write it down once again more detaild.
1. I have installed WAMP 2. Got problems with mySQL 3. Then I make the mistake that I first uninstalled apache and mySQL througt the system control center 4. I uninstalled WAMP also through the system control center 5. I tried to reinstall WAMP but I do get the error message: 'mySQL is already installed on your system. please remove it before installing WAMP' although there is no version of mySQL on the computer I have searched all folder looking after a mySQL version but there is none. Why do I get the error message? And how could I manage this to install WAMP? Thank you for your help! |

The MySql service was not uninstalled properly. You need to remove it before installing >e-novative> WAMP.
See http://www.e-novative-forum.com/article10.htm on how to remove a service. |
