| I installed wamp, but I then did an unistall on my winXP machine. I then tried to do a reinstall, but after WAMP unpacks, it says that Apache is already installed and needs to be removed before Wamp can run. I did not see any registry entries for Apache, and it does not show up in the control panel add/remove programs utility. Any ideas? | |

START->RUN->Type REGEDIT
Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Selecy SYSTEM->CURRENTCONTROLSET->SERVICES It will show that APACHE and MySql are running. Delete apache and mysql. Restart ur computer and install again. |
