OK, I just uninstalled 2.1.1 (which does not have a proper history).
What does 3.0.0 offer? I uninstalled my 2.1.1 and removed the services Apache, and MySQL and installed 3.0.0 only to find out it does not install Apache and MySQL as services. So I should have left the services intact this time. Where does it say this!? I found it nowhere, so I have destroyed my installation and now have to go back to 2.1.1 again. *sigh* |

WAMP: 2.1.1
Apache: Apache/1.3.33 (Win32) PHP/5.0.4 MySql: 4.1.12a-nt-log PHP: 5.0.4 (Details) OK, 3.0.0 keeps failing on me. Here is an accurate FEATURES from version 2.1.1. 1. I think my solution may be to uninstall 2.1.1 2. DO NOT uninstall the Apache and MySQL services manually 3. Try reinstalling 3.0.0 I would do this, but I am running out of time. I need to get back to programming instead of uninstalling/installing software all day long. Thanks. |

3.0.0 is fine and has updated components. However, we have problems with instlling on systems with previous unclean uninstallations. Believe it or not, these problems are related with the original installers of Apache and MySQL and are not a problem of WAMP, so we must work around these problems.
If you could give us an actual description of what is working or not working, we could try to help you. But just saying "it does not work" does give us an idea where to start. |
