Difficulties!

1) I created a new WinXP Pro machine with all of the patches. 
2) I then run the WAMP Installation and carefully apply the UserName and Password for the different services
3) At the end of the installation the 'test' page shows properly.
4) When I run the WAMP control panel it will not accept my username/password

To make sure I did not do anything wrong:
1) I uninstalled the WAMP from 'Add/Revove Programs'
2) Deleted the Apache and mySQL references in REGEDIT
3) Rebooted
4) Tried again - - -

Still, I can not log into the WAMP Control Panel

HELP!

HI....i need help please
i started "mysqld-nt" from dos & and i checked that it is started in task manager.
when i go to cmd again ans run the mysql command it says
"Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (usnig password no)"

moen, please start a new thread when you have an unrelated question.

Does your question actually refer to >e-novative> WAMP or just MySQL? Anyway, the error message says that you cannot connect to the database as user ODBC without a password. This means that either this username does not exist, or the password you provide is wrong.

During my first installation everything went fine but it did not created the www folder and the I could not access the documents folder, therefore I uninstalled the application as described in the manual. During the attempt of a new installation it says that I have apache already installed and that it can not proceed before I un-install the apache?
But I can not find it anywhere!
